Football Club –The church is part of the Norfolk Christian Football League for church based teams in league & cup competitions. These take place on Saturday mornings between September and May, at various venues. We have recently also started a youth team. There are over 32 teams in the different age groups with over 15 Norwich and East Norfolk churches represented. The annual summer 5-a-side has become a major event. Heartsease Community Project – With other local churches we are involved in a weekly Luncheon Club and Coffee Morning, which are based at St Francis Church of England on the Heartsease estate.
Prison Ministry Team – a group from here and other churches in the area, meet regularly to lead a service at Norwich Prison.
ENYP - Witard Road is one of 8 churches which are part of the East Norwich Youth Project.
Thorpe and Heartsease Christian Forum – this church is a member of the forum, together with 9 other churches in the area. Regular meetings are held and various events organised throughout the year, including ecumenical Lent Groups.
